Open Source, Open Content

OpenAerialMap is open source and open content. Anything posted to OpenAerialMap will be shared with the world. Do not post any copyrighted material, proprietary data, or otherwise unauthorized content. Similarly, if you notice any copyrighted material, proprietary data, or otherwise unauthorized content, please notify the administrators immediately so that we can confirm and remove the content.

Advertising

OpenAerialMap does not currently accept advertising of any kind, overt or covert. Please do not post service or product advertisements within the Wiki, in the OpenAerialMap portal, or anywhere else on the site. If you notice advertising, please remove it and/or contact the administrators. We recognize that companies provide many services and products, and discussion and description of those services and products will be a primary function of OpenAerialMap. The guideline for appropriate posting of company information and links is: Is it a resource to the users of OpenAerialMap? Similarly, any links should be directly relevant to the page topic, lead to substantial information sources (i.e., not videos, product demos, or advertisements)and should be accompanied by an informational description. If a link does not meet these three criteria, it does not belong in OpenAerialMap.
