If an area of a county could not be flown in 2003, it has been filled with Summer 2004 imagery. See the accompanying quarter-quad boundary shapefile to find out the date that the source imagery was acquired.

    Helena High-Resolution Color Orthophotographs
    Color orthophotographs of the City of Helena, photogrammetrically compiled from aerial photography flown in April 20, 2006. The project encompasses approximately 44 squares miles of the urban area in and around the City of Helena. The scale of the aerial photography negative was 1 inch =660' exposed at a flight height of 3,500 feet above mean ground level. The resolution for this orthophotograph is 0.0150 meter, or approximately 6 inches.

    Digital Orthophotos, Johnston County, NC
    Countywide orthophotos consist of a tiff file format, one file for each 1 inch =200' tax map covering an area of 5000’ X 5000’. Pixel size represents .5' on the ground, color images are 286 meg per tax map grid coverage area. No attributes available. Each tiff has a corresponding enhanced TFW file that contains geographic coordinate system information and data relating to aerial camera, aeial flight, map accuracies etc. These orthos were produced from an aerial flight covering Johnston Co NC on March 15th, 18th , 21st & 29th 2005. Digital Orthophotos were produced from an aerial flight in 2005, spring flying season using digital photogrammety techniques.
